Some Agencies Start with a Business Plan. Ours Started with a Feeling.

The story of PARIS LONDON PAROS, and of the island that became home.

In 2011, after years of travelling through the Cyclades, we found the island we had been quietly looking for. It wasn't the loudest. It wasn't the most photographed. It didn't try particularly hard to impress us. It simply felt right. Paros had a particular quality of light we couldn't quite describe, a rhythm that seemed to slow everything down, and a sense of balance between village life, wild landscapes and the sea. We came for the island. We stayed because, somehow, it had begun to feel like home. We built a house. And slowly, almost without noticing, we built a life around it. It took another seven years before the agency was born.

From PARIS and LONDON to PAROS

Before Paros, there were years spent between Paris and London, two of Europe's most sophisticated and demanding real estate markets. Those years taught us that property is rarely just about property. It is about trust. Discretion. Timing. Understanding what someone is actually looking for, sometimes before they have found the words for it themselves. When we founded PARIS LONDON PAROS International Real Estate in 2018, we brought that experience with us. The name is deliberately simple. It tells our story. PARIS. LONDON. PAROS.

Three places, three influences, and a bridge between an international perspective and an intensely local knowledge of the island. We are a French-British team with a European real estate background, based year-round in a small village in the heart of Paros. That combination has always been at the heart of who we are.

Why Lefkes?

We could have opened our office in Naoussa or Parikia. We chose Lefkes.

Lefkes was the former capital of Paros, built inland in the mountains at a time when protection from pirates mattered more than proximity to the sea. Today, its narrow marble-paved streets, whitewashed houses, old churches, bougainvillea and shaded passages offer something increasingly precious: a village that still feels like a village.

There are year-round residents here. A bakery. Traditional kafeneía. Neighbours who know one another. Life that doesn't disappear when August ends.

From the higher parts of the village, the view stretches across the hills and towards the Aegean and Naxos. For us, choosing Lefkes was never simply a business decision.

It was a statement about how we wanted to work and where we wanted to belong. Being based here means living the island we represent. We know the road that changes completely in winter. We know which craftsmen can be relied upon when everyone else is on holiday. We know the difference between a plot that looks promising on paper and one that truly has potential. We know the villages, the beaches, the hidden roads, the changing light. And, perhaps most importantly, we understand that Paros is not the same island in August as it is in February. That kind of knowledge cannot be acquired remotely.

More Than a Property Search

The short version is simple: we help people find exceptional homes in Paros and across the Cyclades. The longer version is more interesting. Our clients come from France, the UK, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Greece, the Middle East, and increasingly from the United States and Canada. Some are looking for a summer house. Some are planning a future retirement. Some want an investment. Some are looking for somewhere to spend a few months each year. And some are not entirely sure what they are looking for when they first call us. What they have in common is that they are rarely looking for just more square metres. They are looking for a particular feeling. A view. A village. A certain kind of light. A house with history. A place where children can grow up spending summers. Somewhere to disappear to. Somewhere to begin again. That is why we believe the property is only half of the story. The other half is the person. Our role is to understand both.

From One Island to the Cyclades

For our first 8 years, Paros was our world. We learned the island slowly and thoroughly, its villages, its landscapes, its people, its building traditions, its seasons, its rhythms and, of course, its real estate market. Then our clients began asking us a different question: “If we love Paros, where else should we look?” Some were interested in Ios. Others in Kea, Kythnos, Serifos or Sifnos. Some were drawn to the energy of Mykonos or Santorini; others wanted the quieter character of Syros. We realised that the experience we had built on Paros could be useful beyond the island that had first brought us here. So we expanded carefully. Today, we represent properties for sale across Ios, Kea, Kythnos, Mykonos, Santorini, Serifos, Sifnos and Syros, alongside our work on Paros. It was not an expansion driven by the desire to simply have more listings. It came from our clients, and from the confidence that after eight years of working deeply within one island, we were ready to bring the same level of knowledge, care and discernment to others. And the Cyclades are wonderfully diverse. Each island has its own landscape, architecture, culture, pace and personality. Paros is not Mykonos. Sifnos is not Serifos. Syros is not Ios. We don't want to make them interchangeable. We want to understand what makes each one itself. Our ambition is therefore not to stop at the islands we currently represent. We are ready to work across the Cyclades wherever the right property and the right story bring us.

The Way We Choose to Work

We have never wanted to be the agency with the most properties. We would rather be the agency with the right properties. We don't take every mandate. We represent homes and land that we genuinely believe in, properties we would be proud to show to our closest friends, and, in many cases, properties we could imagine owning ourselves.

We also believe that selling a property is not simply about maximising exposure. It is about finding the right person for it. A beautiful house in the wrong hands is still the wrong transaction. Our clients trust us not only to show them what is available, but to tell them what we really think, even when the answer isn't necessarily what they hoped to hear. That honesty is part of our job.

We 💙 Paros

There is another part of our story that matters just as much as the properties we sell.

We want to give something back to the island that gave us so much.

When you build a business around a place you love, there is a responsibility that comes with it. We make a conscious decision to redistribute a portion of our agency fees every year towards initiatives that contribute to the preservation of Paros, its landscapes, its natural environment, its heritage and the qualities that make the island worth protecting. This is not a marketing campaign. It is part of the way we believe a business should exist within a community. Real estate inevitably changes places. Every house sold, every new construction project, every new owner becomes part of the island's future. We believe that those of us who benefit from Paros also have a responsibility to help safeguard what makes it special. That is why We Love Paros exists. It is our commitment to supporting the island beyond the transactions that take place through our agency. Because we don't simply sell a view of Paros. We live here. We love it. And we want it to remain beautiful for the generations who come after us.

What Luxury Means to Us

For us, true luxury has very little to do with size, price or labels. It is having the freedom to live according to your own values. It might be breakfast outside every morning with a view of the Aegean. It might be walking to the village bakery. It might be having enough land around you to hear nothing but the wind. It might be a beautifully designed house that disappears into the landscape rather than competing with it. Or simply having time. We believe that the best properties allow people to live more like themselves, not less.

Looking Ahead

The Cyclades are no longer a secret. International interest has grown enormously over the past decade. Real estate markets have matured. New construction is accelerating. A new generation of homeowners, investors, architects and entrepreneurs is discovering the islands. The coming years will shape their future in profound ways.

We believe growth can be positive if it is thoughtful. Our ambition is to be part of that better version of the story. To introduce discerning buyers to properties with character. To encourage architecture that belongs to its landscape rather than overpowering it.

To help new owners become part of the communities they join, rather than simply occupying a house within them. And, wherever we work, to contribute something back to the places that make the Cyclades extraordinary.

Why We Are Here

When we look back, the story still feels slightly unexpected. We didn't come to Paros with the intention of creating an international real estate agency. We came because we liked the island. We stayed because it became home. And eventually, we realised that the things we had fallen in love with: the light, the landscape, the villages, the architecture, the way of life, were precisely what so many of our clients were searching for too. Perhaps that is why our work feels less like selling a destination and more like introducing people to places we know intimately and care deeply about. Paros gave us a home. The Cyclades gave us a wider horizon. And now, through our work, we have the privilege of helping others find their own place within them.

Dreams also have an address. We are here to help you find yours.
